Dr. Belete Molla Getahun is a prominent Ethiopian politician and philosopher, currently serving as the country's Minister of Innovation and Technology. With a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Addis Ababa University, Dr. Belete's academic work spans ethics, political economy, and intercultural thought.

A recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, he co-founded the National Movement of Amhara (NaMA) in 2018 and was elected its chairman in 2020.
