Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala is a distinguished healthcare visionary and award-winning philanthropist. An MBA graduate from Yale University, Dr. Khorakiwala currently serves as Executive Director of Wockhardt Limited—a globally recognized research-based pharmaceutical and biotechnology enterprise in India—and CEO of the Wockhardt Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing health, education, water, and sanitation for the nation's most underprivileged communities.

Under his leadership, the Foundation's flagship Mobile 1000 initiative deployed over 200 vans across 21 states and a union territory in 2021–22 alone, providing free primary healthcare to more than 3.8 million individuals across 4,268 villages.

His foundational role in establishing The World Peacekeepers Movement—an online global movement embracing core values like gratitude, forgiveness, love, and truth—has united millions in pursuit of peace and inner wellbeing.

Dr. Khorakiwala's philanthropic influence and societal contributions have earned him over 90 prestigious awards and honorifics, including a Knighthood conferred by the Ecumenical Medical-Humanitarian Order of St. John of Jerusalem (Knights of Charity), 15 Honorary Doctorates, and two D. Litts.

He has also been recognized with the "Bharat Gaurav" Award for outstanding humanitarian service in 2013 and the "Bharat Shree" Award in 2019 by the National Human Welfare Council, presented by the Union Minister Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi.

In July 2025, Dr. Khorakiwala was appointed Health Advisor to the Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau, where he now spearheads vital modernization efforts for their healthcare infrastructure, medicine supply chains, and digital health systems—drawing expertise from India's Ayushman Bharat, e-Sanjeevani, and CoWIN platforms.
